RackLift®, a BIAC Broadband Company
RackLift® RL3500S lifting a fully loaded cabinet in a data center

Since 2004

Tools for the people who move the hall.

RackLift® is manufactured with American steel and aluminum, assembled in Colorado.

At RackLift® we specialize in the design and manufacturing of switch lifting equipment, dedicated to installing heavy devices into cabinets. We also build server-rack movers engineered to relocate fully loaded cabinets: safer, faster, and more efficient. RackLift® is a registered trademark of BIAC Broadband USA, Inc. RackLift® is manufactured with American steel and aluminum, assembled in Colorado.

In some data centers, the traditional approach still means pulling power supplies and coordinating four technicians for a manual lift. That method is archaic and risky. RackLift® products let a single person complete the entire job in half the time. Since 2004 we have provided safer, faster tools for data-center relocation and maintenance worldwide.

Before the RL3500S or RL5000S, moving a cabinet meant removing every device by hand. Those cabinet lifters leave the load in the rack. One technician finishes in a fraction of a day. RackLift® has been designing switch lifts and cabinet movers since 2004. Frames are 704 aluminum with precision fittings, light enough for one technician, stiff enough for a live cabinet: 5,000 lb standard, 6,000 lb with optional stainless upgrade. Trusted in hyperscale, enterprise, and U.S. government halls.

The line was designed by professional engineers, then vetted by hundreds of data center technicians, safety departments, and engineers. The changes they recommended were built in. Since 2004, every production run has carried at least one improvement in capacity, safety, or maneuverability. That record is not a training certificate.
